As I mentioned
in our phone conversation, "Integrity Management Writer"
(IMW) was a key part of enabling us to develop good documentation
for the protocol testing audits. If we had tried to develop our own
documentation format for the program, our documentation would not
have been as comprehensive.
As we went through
the audit, it was very apparent that you have developed a documentation
format that addresses OPS' expectations and can be used to directly
respond to many of the protocol questions. While we customized much
of the documentation, the overall format is well thought out and lends
itself to answering the questions in the protocols. On several occasions,
IMW's provided text addressed the protocol's focus "If it isn't
documented it didn't or won't happen". The OPS is very serious
about having documentation about the intent and guidelines for each
Company's IMP. IMW provided us with an excellent structure and, in
many cases, well worded paragraphs to document our program.
Finally, IMW's
structure and data provided an excellent format for reviewing the
completeness of our documentation. Utilizing your format, we were
able to "pre-audit" our procedures and documentation to
determine weaknesses in our program.
Thanks
for creating an excellent tool, you have saved us weeks of documentation
preparation and enhanced our performance on the protocol testing audit.
